The US army alpha black tactical, as Tippmann calls it, looks likes the M-16. It is a semi-automatic upgraded version of the alpha black. The stock is adjustable upto six positions and features built in sights. It is heavy and features an 11" barrel for accuracy and performance. The tool kit is included in the removable magazine holder. Being a basic version the alpha black tactical has limited upgradability.
Like most Tippmann products, the quick release feeder elbow and the e-trigger system are standard with the Tippmann US Army Sniper Gun Set. It is made from die cast aluminum, is completely serviceable, has a stainless steel gas line and an in-line bolt system. A 20 oz aluminum carbon dioxide tank, a 6+1 harness, a 200 round hopper, a mask and the marker itself are part of the standard kit.
The long 11" barrel makes the gun very accurate. The bolt mechanism is in-line type, as in the more advanced 98 custom. The internal mechanism is rugged and can withstand heavy usage or abuse. It is capable of shooting 8 pellets per second in the semi-auto mode. Anti chop technology is absent on this model. It has very limited number of accessories and upgrades.
