What Kind Of Music Will You Be Listening to In Year 2012?

The music industry is always moving forward and each year a whole new set of music is bought out from both existing and old artists.

2011 has already seen a number of top songs make their way into our favorites lists but is it time to look forward to what we can expect in the next year or so? We guess so.

Some Truly Revolutionary New Music

It appears as though with every passing year even more genres and styles are being brought out in our music charts. If you compare 2011 with any year from, say, the 1980s or 1990s it is obvious that the division of popular music has brought us to a point where there are a huge number of styles to pick from. What will 2012 become based on? We're not totally sure but there are some rumors around that Usher is planning on starting a new music revolution with his latest work. Besides that, we can write off the chance of a completely new artist coming in from the cold and setting the whole world of music alight with something special and amazing. How great would that be?

A difference in the Music World

The dividing of common music into different streams which we talked about earlier has of course meant that it is no longer dominated by one single figure. In earlier times people such as Madonna and Bob Dylan could have all claimed to be one of the biggest artists in the world. In this era, nobody could really claim that title but could that change next year? If anybody can do it then perhaps Lady Gaga is that person to do it. The newest Eminem music has been quite contradictory, but were all hoping that he can get back to his best and provide us all with something we can agree on as the best music in the whole world.

Old Favorites or Brand New Stars?

Would you rather see a familiar face or would you prefer somebody new? The last couple of years have seen many newcomers come onto the scene and make a great impression and there is every chance that the same thing could happen next year as well. The return of an old favorite would be fantastic and to be totally honest we would be satisfied with both results.
