There is no doubt that we live in exciting times. The technology available to us today is so much more advanced than what we had a few decades ago; it really is astonishing. I have a feeling that over the next two decades, the same thing will happen. I predict that some of the most exciting developments are going to be connected to online gaming. This is one type of entertainment that will probably change beyond all recognition. The following are just a few of my predictions for online gaming
- We are definitely going to see huge improvements in online gaming. The games console will be made obsolete by these improvements. With the speed of the web predicted to increase by a lot over the next few years, game developers will be able to make some amazing games that will make the most of this. Console games are something that you should not waste your money on anymore because these changes will happen soon.
- I think that the future will see us becoming the characters of these games rather than actually playing a character. I predict that we are going to have a fully immersive experience where we actually step into the game. You should expect the level of entertainment to be something totally new because everything will look so real. I reckon that some people will spend too much time in these virtual worlds and there will be an outcry about it.
- Over the next few decades the line between movies, gaming and social media will probably disappear totally. We will no longer just passively watch movies but instead take part in them. Changing the storyline is something that we can do by interacting with the characters. We can have more fun by being joined in the movie by the people we know. Because of the social and gaming potential of these movies, there will be hundreds of hours of potential entertainment on offer.
A lot of persons enjoy playing online games today. It offers a great opportunity for a bit of rest and relaxation. There are very popular online games around at present, but amongst the most popular are Angry Birds Online.
