Everybody is aware of who the Simpsons family are, they're known as that very colorful family who have been appearing on your Television screens for some time now and a good majority of us have grown up with the comedy which they've provided. The cartoon sees the dysfunctional American "yellow" family trying to get through life in the best way that they known how, with Bart, Lisa, Maggie, Homer and Marge you can be sure for a wild time.

This overpopular TV cartoon has been followed with the release of several related products, one of which was the Monopoly board game. The Simpsons board game has been getting some highly positive board game reviews all over the internet. It's a version of Monopoly which brings the world of springfield right into your living room because everything in the game has been changed around to encorporate the loveable characters and memorable places from the Simpsons TV show. So now you can be one of the Simpsons family and cause havock in the old town of Springfield, visiting places such as Apu's Kwiki-Mart, The Powerplant and Moe's bar. The Chance and Community Chest cards which you will usually find in the standard Monopoly board game now contain some great Simpsons related info.

At the time of writing this there are three main editions of the Simspons Monopoly, there's the halloween Haunted Treehouse edition, the standard edition and the Electronic Banking edition. The Electronic Banking Simpsons Monopoly is similar to the originial but in this version all of the cash is dealt with electronically instead of physically. The Haunted Treehouse version is slightly different to the regualar version in that the places featured are more relevant to the scary halloween version of the Simpsons as well as having things like glow in the dark peices.
