Nintendo have plans to release a new games device on to the market and this means the end of the road for the Wii. It is due to be released in 2012 and a lot of us can't wait to hear more about it. So far we have not been able to get that much information on what is coming but indications are that it is going to be something that will change the way games are played. There isn't even a name for this console yet but people are calling it project cafe.
A year can feel like a long time to wait for a new console so any news about the specifications of this new Nintendo machine is welcome. From what we are hearing so far, this new console will blow everything that we already have out of the water. And until Microsoft and Sony release their new devices in 2014, this new Nintendo device should be the main console out there. We can expect this new Nintendo game console to have superior HD graphics and improved game play.
Although the Nintendo Wii was never the most powerful game console on the market, it did change the way games were played. Before the Wii appeared on the market, there were many people who would never have considered playing games but the Wii came along and changed all that. Serious gamers may have joked at the commercial appeal of the Wii, but here is no doubting that it has had a huge impact on the gaming world. We can hope that Nintendo's good work will carry on with the new device but that it will also be a serious machine in the world of gaming. If this is something that Nintendo can achieve then I seriously doubt that any other console will be able to compete with this new device. I for one am very excited about this game and I doubt I am the only one.
R4i and gaming cards are fundamental to game enthusiasts pretty much everywhere, so being ready for most scenarios could be the way to go. Some other considerations that gamers may perhaps be considering are memory and joypads.
