Why CSS Is Still Widely Enjoyed A Gaming Server With Gamers

Counter-Strike, otherwise known as CS, offers an approach to play the game with weapons, skins and missions used in real time for action and fun. The game serves as an outlet for players to experience an adventure that puts them into a setting where there are only two teams involved, the rescue team and the terrorists. It's like watching the movies with the cast in 3D graphics being controlled by humans.

Counter-Strike started out at version 1.6 and grew to Counter-Strike Source, also known as CSS. For that, ideas for advanced features gave rise to the Counter-Strike Source server. It started out ideally for the current CS fans to experience an evolution of their favorite game. Counter-Strike 1.6 has to be improved and needed a better server, thus the CS Source server. This time, it used the Source game engine that enabled enhanced game play.

So what made people love the Counter-Strike Source servers, or also popularly known as CSS servers?

One reason is that the game has leveled up as to its storyline and action. The players still get to be the heroes and the screen still projects a first-person viewpoint. Players don't have to read another manual or strategy guide to help them understand the basics that they know.

High customization is featured when the game is played through CSS server, making it another reason why the game is still popular. The Counter-Strike Source has customizations and add-ons that allow players almost unlimited choices of designing the game environment and weapon skins. The maps can also be "retextured" according to the player's preference.

Third, it has better weapons. Players will gain more power and confidence as they choose from new range of weapons. The choices are greatly modded into a set of more balanced and more accurate weapons. Enjoy the Nightwalk, Double Barreled Shotgun, Magic Bullet and more.

Also, the game is popular because of its use of ragdoll physics, an animation technology that will generate death sequences. The games have an amazing visual effect that makes players play like they are situated in a real world. The recoiling of weapons is better and more precise than that of the 1.6 version and the flashbang is now highly upgraded.

Prolific drama is the fifth reason. Since the game has applied the science of physics in the game, the environment and control will look closely to reality. Drama and natural moves combined has made the game play appear real. Players will decrease accuracy of hitting enemies while moving and shooting. If fired using a single gun, the damage effects from the multiple bullets are not the same. The damage depends on how the weapon was fired and the body part that was hit.

Sixth, setting-up an owned CSS server is easy. The players won't have to play using servers operated by other people again. The player can act as a host by using a dedicated server. The player, using a PC, can control and change the attributes of the game based on his preferences.
